My name is Henrietta Graham and I am an independent antiques and fine art consultant and valuer based in the North East of England.

After fifteen years working for Bonhams Auctioneers as a Representative and general valuer covering the North East and twelve years previously working for Sotheby's, I have set up Henrietta Graham Fine Art and Antiques Consultancy based near Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Whether you are moving house, clearing a deceased estate, downsizing, needing to raise funds or just need advice on insurance, probate or family division, for a minimal fee I am happy to help.

If items are to be sold, I can advise on what, where and how best to sell. I can arrange for the goods to be collected and taken to the most appropriate saleroom. Should the client wish to remain anonymous, or is unable to oversee the sale themselves, I can manage it for them. Some antiques achieve better prices if sold in London rather than the provinces. Some may be more in demand in the South rather than the North (or vice-versa) and others may do better sold privately. Whatever the reason, I will be able to advise.

For solicitors, accountants and executors, I offer a swift, independent and professional service from formal probate valuations to the complete overseeing of property to be cleared.

I don't just handle the best items but will help with the disposal of the lesser items, making sure everything is placed in the correct sale to gain the best price for the client and will monitor and report on the progress throughout.
